In August 2001, Utsunomiya City and representatives of various private organizations launched the "Utsunomiya Jazz Town Committee" to make Utsunomiya City a "Jazz Town" and have been working on a number of musical events.
Among them, there were calls for a private jazz organization, and the "Utsunomiya Jazz Association （ UJA ： utsunomiya jazz association)》was born. Owners of jazz clubs, live houses, studios, and other music-related establishments, as well as companies and individuals who support the association, have become members in an effort to enliven Utsunomiya with music.　This channel provides live events hosted by the jazz association and other events as needed.
